The Department of Drome

It borders the Ardeche, Isere and Haute Alps and Vaucluse. The department is very much uneven with the mountains of Alps, western alps being integrated at the Barronies east.

Drome  is a French department and the region of Rhone Alps.
It is located in the province of dauphine and derives its name from the river Drome.
Country albonis and Occitan are the two major languages spoken in this department, though country albonis is confined to a rather small point in the north of the department.

It borders the Ardeche, Isere , Haute Alps and Vaucluse. The department is very much uneven with the mountains of Alps, western alps being integrated at the Barronies east.

The highest point in the department is Massif  Dévoluy at the round rock and is an important tourist destination of the department.

Other places to be seen are the drome hills in the north which are characteristic of the department, noy very much unlike the green hills of Lyon, the vercors east, the foot of the vercors, the valley of drome, and Drôme Provençale south.

The plains of Valencia to the west of cod wolf are other scenic places in the department. Drôme Provençale account for 42 % of the tourist returns and revenue of the department, while Drome, drome hills and diois share the bulk of the remaining.

Crocodile farm, castle grignan, castle of Suze-la-Rousse, Palace of Sweets and Nougat, mas provencal and palace ideal factor Horse to Hauterives are the major tourist attractions.
